Brave to a fault and fast off his line,James conceded no goal in the mid minor final, County quarter final,County semi final or County final,a total of over 4 hours at the business end of the year.
That achievement alone makes him a worthy No.1 on the team of the Year.

Cathal O’Reilly Holycross Ballycahill
Nimble,quick, composed on the ball and an excellent distributor of the sliotar when in possession,Cathal got better and better in the corner, the longer the championship progressed.

Evan Morris Holycross Ballycahill
Of strong build and cool temperament,Evan was rock solid at full back all year,and especially in the key knockout games.Had an outstanding County final.The Foundation Stone of Holycross Minors this year.
Corner Back
Cillian Doran Moycarkey Borris
Not too many U15’s make a Minor A hurling team of the Year, but Young Doran has done just that.
Starting the year as a corner forward on the Moycarkey-Borris team, Cillian has shown how he can adapt to any position as he grew into the corner back role to play a pivotal part this season.
He has enjoyed a great year with the club as he also captained the U-15 side to a mid football title and has also claimed recent Munster success with Colaiste Mhuire, Cillian is sure to excel in the coming years.
Wing Back
Liam Doyle Holycross Ballycahill
Strong,aggressive,attacking half back throughout Holycross Ballycahill’s county league run,and only got better when championship arrived,combining steeliness with laser delivery of the ball.
Centre Back
Jim Ryan Holycross Ballycahill
A superb County Final winning Captain,the Anchor at the centre of the Holycross Ballycahill defence,an excellent reader of play and his huge clearances turning defence into attack instantly.
Wing Back
Harry Still Carrick Swan
Harry was a massive part of the club defence this year whilst still being able to move up his wing and take scores also.
Harry was the go to man for man marking within the Swan defence this Year.
Midfield
Joe Egan Moycarkey Borris
Joe played midfield this season,but is a versatile player comfortable in the backs or forwards also. This year is another busy one for Joe with club, school and county where he played a central role in the Tipperary Minor panel that secured Munster and All Ireland honours this year.
Callum Walsh Carrick Swan
After a tough start to the year through injury, Callum Walsh the Swan team Captain excelled through the rest of the year in the middle of the field covering every blade of grass and popping up with some important scores when needed.
Wing Forward
Jimmie Lahart Holycross Ballycahill
Quicksilver, at wing or centre forward,with fierce pace and a keen eye for goals,scored heavily throughout the entire campaign,including six points from play in the County final.
Centre Forward
Callum Lanigan Carrick Swan
Lanigan catches the eye due to his long range scoring and his ability to catch a high ball. Callum lives for the sport and his club and his standout performances of the year came in the South semi final with him scoring 1-11 and the South final with another 1-8 in the bag.
Wing Forward
Bill Flanagan Moycarkey Borris
Playing wing forward this year on the Minor A Moycarkey/Borris team,
Flanaghan impressed with some very strong performances,in particular his standout ability to catch the high ball.
His Standout Performance was the Minor A Mid Final,which was a very competitive game .
Corner Forward
Robbie Ryan Holycross Ballycahill
Moved from centre to corner forward after the mid final,and contributed 4.16 from play from there in the remaining 3 games,as well as being unerringly accurate from frees.Lethal.
Full Forward
Jack Hayes Moycarkey Borris
Jack had a great year for his club this season where his scoring ability caught the eyes of many.
In one championship match he reached new heights, scoring an amazing 3-12 .
Corner Forward
Stefan Tobin Carrick Swan
Stefan is a very talented player and has the ability to play any position on the field and excel. Stefan will always give 110% and his skill levels are a joy to watch. Stefan is consistency personified and it’s hard to pick a good performance as every game he stood out.
