Intermediate Top 15 Performances
1.Jack Currivan (Golden/Kilfeacle)
The Clean Sheet bonus must be big Money out West. Currivan mans the meanest defence across all the Top 3 grades of Tipperary Club Hurling in this Year’s Championship. The West outfit are conceding an average Total of 0-16 per game. No Goal conceded in the last 5 games.
2. Cathal Greene (Moneygall)
Moneygall may have conceded 3 goals in their 2-24 to 3-13 Quarter Final win over Portroe, but Greene couldn’t be faulted for any of them. The Tipp panelists from early this Year showed cool, calm and collectedness all through.
3.Sean Ryan (Cappawhite)
Second Week in a row for the Cappawhite man to feature here. Held the ever dangerous Eamonn Hough to 0-1, in their Extra Time Win over Shannon Rovers. No mean feat.
4.James Burns (Ballingarry)
A Tigerish defender. Held his line very well under a lot of pressure from the Kickhams attack.
5.Eoin Marnane (Golden/Kilfeacle)
The Golden defence is mean. Marnane has been ever present. A stylish wing back he popped up with a score last weekend also.0-02 from play now for this Campaign.
6.Jack Fennelly (Ballingarry)
The Ballingarry captain stepped out from full-back this year and Ballingarry are unbeaten in all competitions. You can draw Your own conclusions as to how successful his switch to Centre Back has been.
7.Matt Tierney (Shannon Rovers)
The big direct no.7 singlehandedly brought the Rovers back into contention in normal time in their Quarter Final AET Defeat to Cappawhite.
8.Adam Hogan Moneygall
We’re running out of things to say about this Man. Others might get all the plaudits but Hogan is exceptional.2-19 in total scored,2-11 of it from open play.
9.Brendan Murphy (Cappawhite)
Scored a goal in normal time, made the goal for Gearoid Lennon in Extra Time of their Quarter Final Win. Murphy ran himself into the ground for the cause. Selfless.

Walsh’s scoring is phenomenal, 3-25 so far in the 2024 Intermediate Championship . An ever present on our Intermediate Team of the Week.
11.Ben Currivan (Golden/Kilfeacle)
Currivan got 0-5 from play and in some quarters, he didn’t play well. Such now is the level that he operates at. 0-14 from play so far. Probably one of the most efficient hurlers across the top 3 grades of the Adult Hurling Championships. You can find him anywhere and always in the right place.
12. Conal Moran (Shannon Rovers)
He could do no more. 1-19. Phenomenal scoring in one game. Scored the equalizing goal deep into injury time too in their Quarter final loss to Cappawhite. 1-46 in Total for 2024 ,0-21 from play, some Campaign for the Rovers Man.
13.Jack Bergin (Golden/Kilfeacle)
Doesn’t get the recognition his two compatriots do but Bergin is a very efficient operator. 1-02 to his name in Golden’s 3-23 to 0-21 Quarter Final win over Borrisokane. 2-03 from play so far this Year.
14.Dara McCarthy (Cappawhite)
McCarthy ended the Quarter Final win with 0-11 to his name. But his performance in extra time is the reason, Cappawhite are facing Moneygall in a Semi Final in the Ragg this Sunday and Why he’s on the Team here. A 5 points burst in 20 minutes in the Quarter Final made all the Difference.
15.Sean Kenneally (Moneygall)
1-06 from Play in Moneygall’s Quarter Final Win over Portroe. Easy as you like. Would be on any Senior Club Team in the County. Class Personified.
