The PremierView Podcast Junior A Hurling Team of the Year
- Ciaran Kelly(Kiladangan) – A very impressive Junior A North campaign followed by an equally impressive County campaign sees the young Kiladangan man get the nod. Taking over from Darragh Egan as the second team net-minder was always going to be a hard act to follow.
- Cathal McKeown (Moyle Rovers) – Steady, dependable and tenacious. Ideal traits for a corner-back
- Shane Seymour (Kiladangan) – Seymour has seen it all, a regular in the team for a few years now he’s as strong and sturdy as ever.
- Gavin Dunne (Holycross/Ballycahill) – Dunne has played well throughout and was in line for man of the match honours on more than one occasion
- Sean Nash (St. Patricks) – A club that is going from strength to strength is St. Pats and Nash is a big part of their set-up. Very impressive and stylish wing-back.
- Ben Owens (Moyle Rovers) – Anchors the defence brilliantly. Has shown he is equally at home in either code. Very important to Moyle Rovers going forward in next Year’s Intermediate Championship. The gasps when he went off after 23 minutes in the County Final show how much he is thought of.
- Luke Boland (Moyle Rovers) – A shining light for Moyle Rovers on the wing. Can pop up with a score also.
- Rian Quigley (Moyle Rovers) – Gets through an awful lot of work for the South men. Pops up everywhere. A real live wire in the engine room.
- Jamie Lee Dwan (Holycross/Ballycahill) – Another to impress this year. Formed a decent partnership with Jamie Woods in the heart of the Holycross team.
- Killian Butler (Moyle Rovers) – Butler is consistently scoring and working hard. A real asset to Moyle as they strive for Munster Honours.
- Dara Ryan (Moyle Rovers) – The leader of the Monroe outfit. Scoring at will. Creating. Ryan is the reason Moyle Rovers have been so comfortable in their last 4 games.
- Cathal Foley (St. Patricks) – Foley was scorer in chief for the South runners-up and also caught the eye in their County Semi – Final defeat. St. Pats will make the breakthrough sooner rather later at this grade and Foley will be integral to it.
- Mikey Nally (Holycross/Ballycahill) – A real thorn in the opposition sides is the corner-forward from Holycross. He struck 0-05 from play in the Mid-Final.
- Dan O’Meara (Kiladanagan) – Nobody would doubt this selection. O’Meara was a surprise inclusion only because he wasn’t playing senior. His goal in the semi-final sent Kiladanagan marching on
- Tony O’Brien (Galtee Rovers) – Galtee will be kicking themselves following their 1 Point St. Pats County Quarter Final defeat. O’Brien got two green flags in the West final win over Lattin and is worthy of inclusion here.
