1.Enda Dunphy (St Marys)
The Clonmel man is in Our Premier Intermediate Team of the Week for the Second time this year. Scorer of 3 points, he also made some important saves in the victory over Killenaule. 0-6 in Total scored in the 3 Group Games.
2.Kieran Moloney (Thurles Sarsfields)
Moloney dropped into the full back line with ease to pick up the in-form Cian O’Dwyer. He was always on top and a Man of the Match contender in their victory over Mid rivals Clonakenny.
3.Ger Grant (Upperchurch/Drombane)
The ‘Church powered into the knockout stages with convincing win over Ballina. Their defence held the North men to a 15 point total and Grant stood firm in the pivotal full-back position.
4.Conor Gleeson (Gortnahoe/Glengoole)
Artistic license being used here but, We couldn’t leave the county U20 panelist out. Deployed around the half back line Gleeson helped himself to an important point to add to his 0-2 Round 2 tally and repelled Moyne any way he could.
5.Michael Cahill (Thurles Sarsfields)
The second Thurles Sars man in the line up. The Experienced Cahill was at his best sweeping across the half-back line mopping up ball and creating opportunities for the Sars. They have marched into the Quarters and Cahill has been instrumental. Vision.
6.Brian Fox (Eire Óg Annacarty)
Ageless and effective. Fox got the Clubber Man of the Match. He stood firm when Cashel were on the move. He blocked, harried, caught, hit and set up attacks for the West side and gave an interview for the ages afterwards. A must listen for all Club Players.
7.Cian Flanagan (Newport)
Despite being on the losing side, Flanagan had a performance for the ages. 5 points from play from the wing back position to add to his 0-03 from play in Round 2. He couldn’t be faulted.
8.Conor Deely (St. Marys)
With 0-03 scored from Play so far in the Championship, Deely has formed a very effective Midfield Partnership with Richie Gunne which has sent the Clonmel Club into the knockout stages for the 4th year in a row, Solid, Combative and a very effective Link man.
9.Euan Ryan (Boherlahan Dualla)
A powerful performance from Euan gets him his Second nod for The Premier ‘View’ Premier Intermediate Team of the Week. Busy as ever around the middle, he gave Newport something to think about every time, he got on the ball. Knows where the black spot is too,0-06 from play so this campaign.
10.Paudie Greene (Upperchurch/Drombane)
1-03 from play for the big ‘Church forward in a commanding display of attacking talent for the Mid Men. They’re back on track now.
11.Conor McKelvey (Silvermines)
With Jason Forde moved to the backs, McKelvey took up the scoring mantle. 1-12 for the ‘Mines Man in a tonic victory as they head for their relegation battle with Sean Treacy’s.
12.Pa Bourke (Thurles Sars)
We couldn’t leave him out. 0-4 from play. He was the architect of all that was good with the Sars forward play. Another Tipp master to make our Premier Intermediate ToTW.
13.Darragh Kelly (Eire Óg Annacarty)
Phenomenal. How was he not on the U20 panel in 2024 ?. Has barely put a foot wrong in the Championship (1-10 with 1-09 from Play).He seems to love playing against Cashel.
14.Peter McGarry (St. Marys)
Mary’s overturned a ten point loss in the South Championship to a five point win in on Friday. McGarry helped himself to another 5 from play, deadly accurate that evening, Surely Liam Cahill and Co. are observing ?.
15.Mark Downey (Boherlahan/Dualla)
Downey grabbed his third goal of the campaign which has him with 3-02 from play after 3 games and he was a constant thorn in the Newport side. Made himself available at all times and stood up when needed.
